RETURNING TO IN-PERSON SERVICES

Beginning February 21

Imago has decided that individuals or groups less than 50 may begin meeting in the building and we will return to offering in-person services to less than 50 people (including staff) on Sunday, February 21st. The state’s guidelines permit gatherings of no more than 50 during Phase 4. As we prepare to return to in-person services, the following practices should be observed in Phases 2-4, regardless of the number of people assembled.

They are as follows:

  •  Maintain at least 6 feet between all persons who do not live in the same household. Avoid hand-shaking and hugging. Pews will be marked with a green checkmark where households can sit together during services. All Bibles, pens, papers, etc. will be removed from the pews as well as the children’s busy bags.

  •  Wear facial coverings (e.g. masks, bandanas, scarfs). We will have extra masks on site. If someone is unwilling to wear a mask, we will kindly inform them they’re not allowed to enter the building for other's protection and per our policy.

  • No food or beverages are allowed outside of the Parkview Hall where social distancing can be practiced while eating without a mask. We will not offer shared coffee stations or water fountains.

  • Communal singing in the sanctuary will not be permitted. We are asking for folks to just listen to and read along in their heads to the lyrics of the songs due to singing being a super spreader.

  •  Maintain good personal hygiene including hand washing, sanitizing, and not touching your face. Used tissues should be thrown in the trash and hands washed. One person at a time will be permitted in the bathrooms.

  • Any individuals displaying symptoms of COVID-19 as well as people who have had close contact with a person who has symptoms of COVID-19 refrain from participating in any aspect of in-person gatherings in the church building.

  • We will provide disinfectant supplies for each room that is to be used by the group or service using the building to sanitize the surfaces and doorknobs of the space that’s been occupied. We will also have a weekly cleaning of the whole building and daily cleaning of the preschool rooms and restrooms.

  • We will provide hand sanitizer, tissues, and wastebaskets in each space and we encourage everyone using the space to utilize these resources.

  • Everyone attending services should enter through the main entrance doors and no one is permitted to enter and exit through the kitchen doors. In order to encourage circulation of outdoor air as much as possible and to reduce communal usage of the door, the door will be propped open before service and after.

  • If smoking outside, please observe a 10-foot social distance from others around you and avoid smoking near doors and windows.

  • Meeting outside on the property is permitted as long as you respect the social distance guidelines.
