We love being in the Parkview Neighborhood, and we believe it's important to make an impact right where we are.

There are several ways that we aim to build relationships with and serve the people who live right near where we gather to worship every Sunday. Each year we host an Easter Egg Hunt for our Parkview Community.

We also support people in the city of Peoria by filling needs that are brought to our attention by other organizations such as Jolt and Lula.

Right now our friends that are unsheltered need items for when they get housed. Below is a list of items needed to furnish our friends’ homes when they move in. Angie Voss is heading up a closet for us to store these things in so that we are always ready for what is needed. Items can be dropped by the closet in the Parkview Hall or in the donation center in the main hallway. You can also donate financially using the drop down menu on the “Give” page and selecting “Closet.”

  • Basic cleaning supplies (dish soap, toilet brush/cleaner, mop, broom, handsoap, etc.)

  • Hygiene items (full size body wash, shampoo and conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste)

  • Shower curtains, rods, hooks

  • Towels - all sizes, all kinds (bathroom and kitchen)

  • Bath mats

  • Hangers

  • All bedding items (comforters, blankets, sheets - queen size)

  • Kitchen items - plates, bowls, cups, mugs, silverware, pots, cooking utensils, hot pads, ice trays, dish drainer

  • Appliances - microwaves, toasters, coffee makers

***Other needs that our unsheltered friends always have are baby wipes, men’s boxer briefs sized M-XL, and bottled water. These donations can be left by the Lula closet in the fellowship hall! Check back regularly as the list is always evolving to meet current needs!
