Returning to Phase 3 (Groups of 10 or Less)

Returning to Phase 3 (Groups of 10 or Less)

GUIDELINES BEGINNING NOVEMBER 11

Imago has decided that due to the extreme rise in cases in our area that we are returning to Phase 3 guidelines of only allowing groups of 10 or less gather in our building. Consequently, this means we will also be temporarily disbanding our in-person services. The state’s guidelines permit gatherings of no more than 10 during Phases 2 and 3 and no more than 50 during Phase 4. However, certain practices should be observed in Phases 2-4, regardless of the number of people assembled.

They are as follows

  • No live singing is allowed – congregational, choir, or solo. You can continue to use recorded music and instruments, except for wind instruments.

  • No childcare or children’s classes can be provided.

  • Maintain at least 6 feet between all persons who do not live in the same household. Avoid hand-shaking and hugging.

  • Wear facial coverings (e.g. masks, bandanas, scarfs). We will not be providing these. If someone is unwilling to wear a mask they will not allowed to enter the building for other's protection and per our policy.

  • No food or beverages are allowed, including shared coffee stations or water fountains. Consuming food and beverages would require you to remove your mask, thus putting others at risk.

  • Maintain good personal hygiene including hand washing, sanitizing, and not touching your face. Used tissues should be thrown in the trash and hands washed.

  • Any individuals displaying symptoms of COVID-19 as well as people who have had close contact with a person who has symptoms of COVID-19 refrain from participating in any aspect of in-person gatherings in the church building.

  • We will provide disinfectant supplies for each room that is to be used by the group using the building to sanitize the surfaces and doorknobs of the space you occupied. We will also have a weekly cleaning of the whole building.

  • We will also provide hand sanitizer, tissues, and wastebaskets in each room and we encourage everyone using the space to utilize these resources.

  • We encourage you to increase the circulation of outdoor air as much as possible by opening windows. We ask that folks avoid propping the doors open for security purposes.

  • If smoking outside, please observe a 10 foot social distance from others around you and avoid smoking near doors and windows.

  • Meeting outside on the property is permitted as long as you respect the social distance guidelines.

For groups that are more than 10 we are going to ask that your refrain from meeting in the building at this time or consider splitting the group up to meet on different days.
